Q: Congratulations to John Mclean and to Geraldine O'Flynn for winning the Best Short Film, fantastic "Pitch Black Heist".
This is your second short film, both starring Michael Fassbender, how did you managed to get that?

John: Well, I've made a lot of short films just with my mates and Michael somehow managed to see the DVD, so I met him one night through his agent and he said: "If you ever want to do something..." and I said "Ok..."

Q: And you did that...

John: Yeah...

Q: And look at the results! There's a rumor it might be a feature coming up with Michael...

John: Yeah, it's in development in the moment...

Q: Was it the tricky challenge for you in this project, Geraldine?

Geraldine: People like Michael Fassbender and Liam Cunningham are amazing to have around all the time...

I think we were really lucky, because it was amazing crew with us, there's feature film crew Robby Ryan (operator) and people of his crew, it was just a fantastic time...
So it was a challenge, but just a wonderful thing to do...

Q: For anyone who's watching this but haven't seen the film can you pitch "Pitch Black Heist" very quickly?

John: It's a heist film set in the pitch black.

Q: Perfect! That's what we want from our films: it says all in the title!
