"Michael Fassbender was among the winners at the Richard Attenborough UK Regional Film Awards (RAFAs) in London last night.

Michael won the Actor of the Year award for his performance in Shame.

Six of the 13 categories - including this one - at the RAFAs are voted on by the UK's regional film critics, while the other seven are voted on by members of the public.

In the critics' categories, Meryl Streep was named Actress of the Year for The Iron Lady, while Tom Hiddleston won the Rising Star award for War Horse, Thor and The Deep Blue Sea."
