The first Steve Jobs teaser featuring Michael Fassbender as the Apple innovator was downright uncanny. Wearing the signature black turtleneck and Jobsian Levi’s, Fassbender disappeared into the role. But now we have a better look at how Fassbender will appear throughout the film, which spans the entire Jobs legacy, from the long, floppy brown hair associated with that famous garage in Los Altos, California, to the close-cropped cut of his later days. The new trailer also gives us a sense that this movie, written by Aaron Sorkin, will very much take the Social Network approach to Silicon Valley. In other words, “These guys are geniuses, but, man, are they jerks.” The film—which went through several leading men and a change in director before landing on Fassbender and Danny Boyle—will reportedly feature Jobs in every single scene. Are you ready for that much highly articulate nastiness, especially with Kate Winslet and Seth Rogen also in the mix? Steve Jobs hits theaters October 9.
